Cross your fingers!
Last fall, the girls and I ran out in the rain with two pounds of bluebonnet seeds to see if we could help the state flower along. Let’s hope that our efforts bear blooms! The Bluebonnet Cam at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center shows some flower power rising, but so far nothing from my patches. I’ll keep watch!
In the meantime, since the flowers are fickle, I’m running a spring portrait special on Lady Bird Lake (Town Lake for us old-timers.) I will be shooting at 9, 10, and 11 a.m., as well as 5 and 6 p.m. daily from March 6 to March 29.
It’s booking faster than I thought it would, given the economy. Since this page is so easy to update, I’ll list what I’ve got right here.
If you have preschool children, the weekday mornings (other than spring break) are very open. Call about those.
For those of you with school-aged kids who need weekends, evenings, or spring break, I’ve still got these open:
Spring Break:
Wednesday, March 18 at 10 or 11 a.m., 5 or 6 p.m.
Saturday, March 21 at 5 or 6 p.m.
Sunday, March 22 at 9, 10, 11 a.m., 5 or 6 p.m.
And the final week:
Monday, March 23 at 9, 10 a.m. or 6 p.m.
Tuesday, March 24 at 9, 10 a.m.
Wednesday, March 25 at 9, 10 a.m. or 6 p.m.
Thursday, March 26 at 9 or 10 a.m.
Saturday, March 28 at 9 a.m., 5 or 6 p.m.
Sunday, March 29 at 9 a.m. or 6 p.m.
(Updated March 17)
Email me to reserve one! If you’re not on my mailing list, you missed out on a serious coupon! Make sure you get it next time!
